Last Friday, we opened the doors to my solo show Conversations and Color, the result of a year of hard work. Over 500 people poured into the gallery that night, bringing a communal energy that felt contagious. I had a range of emotions from the beginning of the event- starting with what felt like stage freight, and ending with a great pride in the creative community that came out to show support.
I have a lot I'd like to tell you about the show, and eventually I will, but I figured it's best to treat this initial blog post as more of a digital tour of the gallery. I'd like you to approach these images with your own thoughts and questions just as you would walking around the physical space, at your own speed and without a guide.
To view the remaining available work from the show, as well as a few secret pieces that we kept in the archives, visit my Conversations and Color page.
I posted more photos on Facebook. If you were at the show, chances are you'll be able to tag yourself in the album. Please do!
